Full Moon Hikes

LAH Parks/Recreation is offering Full Moon and new moon hikes in the Spring and Summer months.

Event Info:

A new offering for night owls, or those just interested in seeing our town in a different light! Monthly Full Moon Night Hikes take place when the moon is at its brightest. Bring a headlamp or flashlight if desired, water, a jacket, and sturdy, all-terrain shoes. This event is open to all. However, please note we will be walking on dirt pathways in reduced lighting. There are some hills, however, we plan to go at an accommodating pace. For questions or information, email Nina Sutaria bactant@gmail.com.

Dates: 3/9, 4/7, 5/7, 6/5, 8/3, 9/1

Day: Varies

Time:8:30 pm

Location: Westwind Community Barn, Parking Lot

New moon hikes will have no moon so please bring a headlamp.  Full moon hikes will also go into the trees so a lamp will be helpful for all hikes.
